Welcome to Kensington Place, one of the few heritage buildings in Vancouver. We will be 100 in 2012 and are the second building to be strata titled (condominium) in BC.

The suite is over 1300 square feet and is comfortably furnished, including antiques, paintings, china, art glass and First Nations art. Many of the pieces are from my family or were collected over a career working in the cultural field and with Aboriginal communties.

There are two bedrooms and two bathroom. The dining room can seat eight comfortably and two can eat in the kitchen.

The building is located in the part of Vancouver known as the West End which is situated between Stanley Park and Downtown. It's a ten minute walk to the Park and about a half an hour walk to downtown or ten minutes on transit. Stanley Park is a very large park which contains the Vancouver Aquarium which has a large marine collection and is a national marine research centre. An outdoor stage presents musical theatre and concerts and an Aboriginal Village provides a local First Nations cultural experience, both only in the summer. The Park has several beaches and restaurants and is surrounded by a seawall walk and parallel bike path. (Lots of bike rental places in the vicinity.)
