Looking for exchange Summer 2015 with Boulder, CO, USA.

We offer an exchange with our charming whitewashed farmhouse with a thatched roof and long colonnaded portico. It is located in the Mecsek Hills in the village of Magyaregregy, Southern Transdanubia.

The Mecsek Hills are a string of hills and valleys dotted with villages and the odd lake to the north of the city of Pécs (Cultural Capital of Europe 2010). There is good hiking, biking and swimming here. We recommend tasting wine in the neighbourhood (Szekszárd and Villány). Pécs, is only 30 minutes away and can also be reached by bus. Art museums and theatres abound and history is very much alive here. There are Roman and early Christian tombs and a number of Turkish monuments have survived. Many other towns here are worth visiting as well. Imposing castles dominate Siklós and Szigetvár. You can drive to Budapest (airport) in 2 hours and to Vienna in less than 4 hours or take the train from Pécs.
